Today's Scripture is from Philippians 2:4 - "Do not merely look out for your own interests, but also for the interests of others."
Today's quote is from Mother Teresa - "Go out into the world today and love the people you meet. Let your presence light new light in the hearts of people."
We started our morning with a delicious business breakfast accompanied by Zambian business leaders. Their industries and specialties included hospitality, aesthetics/design, and construction. Through conversation surrounding Zambian culture, tradition, and socio-economic nuances, we were able to learn how to develop business strategy using demographic analysis. A specific topic that stood out to us after the breakfast was the historical background of different regions of Africa - providing context for cultural practices and traditional perspectives that differ from ours in the U.S.

Later, we hopped on the bus and headed to the Family Legacy campus. Layton, the missions coordinator at Family Legacy, gave us a tour of their facilities. We got an insider look at their clinic, trade schools, and farms. The campus also includes rehabilitation centers for vulnerable children, one named "Brothers & Sisters", where we joined the children for lunch and learned their go-to songs, dances, and games.

After our visit, we walked over to the youngest residents of Family Legacy - the babies! We were greeted with HUGE hugs, happy screams, laughing, and dancing. All of us were overjoyed at the sight of such enthusiasm upon our group's arrival, our biggest God-sighting of the day. Our time with the babies included LOTS of gymnastics, selfies, and intense cardiovascular strain - it was impossible to leave :)

We ended the evening with life-changing showers, a beautiful sunset dinner, and a group devotional. We are so thankful to the Lord for all His protection and provision on our trip thus far! We are so blessed by the wonderful hospilitality at Family Legacy and our trip leaders!
