Welcome back! Today we started the day by going to a Family Legacy secondary school to organize and sticker books in their library. When we arrived, we were happily greeted by Family Legacy staff and got straight to work! We categorized and color-coded each book according to its genre.
When taking out books in the non fiction history section, Lali was quickly frightened by a ginormous wall spider!!!!! Shortly after, she looked down and saw a big lizard on top of a book!!!! It generated a lot of laughs!
We successfully put stickers on all 5,000 books before 1:00 pm when we were told it might take all day. Good job team! Towards the end of our time at the library, two of the principal's grandkids had so much fun putting stickers on Jack and Lali!
After the library, we went to a cute local boutique where some of us bought souvenirs!
Next, we visited our friend Tim at his Zambian restaurant called Zambean! We enjoyed coffee, muffins, and sandwiches for a late lunch and said our farewells to Layton. She has been such a great leader for our group! We then came back to the resort for a well-needed rest and a delicious dinner!
Sadly, we then had to pack and prepare to leave Lusaka tomorrow😞 but stay tuned for our safari trip!!!! We’re so excited!
