I have had a difficult time writing this post. I do not want our time or God's Mission to end in Zambia! While God's Mission will not end, we have returned to start "normal" routines back at home. We will forever be changed and Zambia will forever hold a piece of our hearts.
We are at the end of the Baylor in Zambia Mission Trip. It has been an awe-inspiring way to serve the Lord these last 2 weeks. We have come through many trials but had so many joyful experiences! We would love to thank all of our families, sponsors, supporters, Layton, Excel Beyond Staff, Zambian participants, those that fed us, those that drove us, Baylor Missions, Baylor UPO, and especially those that prayed for us.
On our last full day we went on a Safari with Kiambi Safari. We were able to experience the beauty of Zambezi National Park and God's beautiful creatures- great and small.
We ate at the Hungry Lion, a local favorite on the way to the airport! And then....We unknowingly made a commercial sharing our experiences while leaving the airport and apparently went viral in Zambia!
God's plan for us to share our business knowledge with the Zambians gave us purpose to share His Love with all those we came into contact with! While we had to say it was time to go, it will definitely not be a goodbye. Many of us have plans to return in many capacities and we all will definitely be praying for our brothers and sisters in Christ!
We want to thank you all again- Zikomo Kwa Mbiri for all you have contributed to Baylor Business in Zambia Mission Trip. Please pray for the upcoming trip in Summer of 2024 that God's Will be done!
