Day 8: Muli Laka Monse ("Hey Everyone")

Today's Scripture is from Colossians 1:16 - "For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities - All things were created through him and for him."

Today's quote is from George MacDonald - "I would rather be what God chose to make me than the most glorious creature that I could think of; for to have been thought about, born in God's thought, and then made by God, is the dearest, grandest, and most precious thing in all thinking."

This morning started off with a hasty breakfast and fun beverages like mango juice and cucumber water - YUM! We headed down to Legacy Center where we completed our Day 2 workshops with our second session of bright Zambian students!

We can say for a fact that all of us Baylor University students and staff were incredibly impressed by the innovative minds of our students. During our "Selling and Relationships" workshop we had an excellent example of sales strategy done through story-telling by two star-student volunteers!

Everyone took a brain-break for lunch, which included lots of photography, story-telling, and learning the language. Another notable highlight was, of course, the business presentations - some of which included themes of soy beans, restaurants, and chickens (as per usual).

After the students left, we prepped for the Excel Beyond Career Fair. We are excited to announce that we have potentially 10 COMPANIES who will be interviewing our students tomorrow morning. If all goes well, this will be the BEST turnout so far on a Baylor Business in Zambia trip!!!
